THE WONDERFUL TRADITIONAL COOKING OF AEGIALIA, WITH QUALITY RAW MATERIALS, ACTUALLY ITS PRODUCTS
With the help of the ” Quality Network Oinoxenia” (Panoprima Villas have been members since 2020), we gathered a group of 33 local recipes, for appetizers and main dishes, record them in a complete catalogue and classified them in 5 categories, as described in the table below:
it goes without saying that we have tried most of the dishes, which indeed they are all wonderful tastes, that you cannot find in other provincial places (at least in the Peloponnese).
But the point is not to create a table and photos with the 33 dishes, but to produce them with the help of experienced cooks, to make them available to all our guests, throughout the year, especially in the summer season.
Here, all the kitchen staff have assisted from the traditional tavern “Kyani Akti”, which serves on the beach in Selianitika, but also in its beautiful winter room, since it operates all year round, came to our help.
We have confirmed in practice that all 33 of their local recipes are well known to them, as they have cooked same many times. Additionally, we ensured the possibility for prompt delivery to our 2 country villas, with the unique condition that our guests must order from the previous day the 2-3 different dishes of their choice, in order to ensure timely genuine local ingredients for their preparation.
Consequently, our guests, in addition to our beautiful accommodation, can also enjoy such local tastes of these 33 traditional dishes, which can be paired easily with the over 90 labels / types of wines produced by the 11 Aigialeia wineries.
Therefore, either on the balconies of our country villas, or on the “Kyani Akti”, tables next to the sea, our guests can try unknown but wonderful traditional flavors of Aigialeia to complement their stay in Aigialeia with beautiful and delicious experiences, children – adults and for the whole year.
