“Oinoxenia Quality Network”
The creation of the excellent cooperation network,
for the upgrading of tourism in Aegialia & Kalavrita

The “Oinoxenia Quality Network” includes the wineries of the area of Aigialeia and Kalavrita as well as the important professionals of catering, hospitality, tourism and other related activities, including the “Panorama & Primavera Villas”. It was created in 2013 and initially concerned the 10 wineries that exist in Aigialeia and which were the initial / main organizers of the events “Oinoxeneia”, which take place during the first 15 days of each August in cities, villages and settlements of Aigialeia.

However, the original members realized the fact “the power in the union” and so the previous Board decided to expand the categories of its members, including hotels, tourist accommodation, restaurants / taverns / wine bars, etc.

And in this way they became an active member, while at the same time a relevant post / entry was uploaded in the special section of the website, where it hosts complete information and photos for each member of the Network, separately.

So, in 2-3 months the number of the members exceeded 50 with total activities in the whole range of the tourism industry and services provided.

At the same time its own website was created:

while expecting the planned extension in English language.

This site presents in detail the beauties / landscapes of Aigialeia, as well as the particularly quality local products (i.e. what and which products the visitor of Aigialeia can purchase and take with him when leaving), together with the beautiful memories of his summer stay.

For the promotion of the tourist Aigialeia, the 1^st local conference (Sunday 21/11/2021) was held for the tourist marketing in the hall of the Multipurpose Center of Aigio, with the large participation of the interested bodies, members, local authorities, etc.

Many events and celebrations are expected to take place in 2022 through the “Oinoxenia Quality Network” and it will be good in addition to guests’ initial visit to also visit the Network website often for more information and details, participations and ideas for excursions to their beautiful places, but to taste as well the beautiful products of the combined area “Aigialeia – Kalavryta”.

The new Board of Directors of the Network (as emerged from the elections of November 2021) is very dynamic and a pioneer in applying the practices of clusters (clusters of companies, as they have been applied in Europe and USA for the last 10 years) and we wish to the Network good luck in all its future endeavors.
